Delise Andrews is the 3-5 Mathematics Coordinator for Lincoln Public Schools in Lincoln, Nebraska. During her career, she has worked in both rural and urban districts and has taught mathematics to students at every age from Kindergarten through the 8th grade, undergraduate mathematics methods and mathematics content courses for pre-service teachers, and graduate level courses for teachers of mathematics.

Kim currently serves as the Chief Learning Officer and CEO at KP® Mathematics and an Official Building Thinking Classrooms Consultant alongside Peter Liljedahl.

Chase Orton’s unique career path has been guided by his passion for creating productive and inspired math classrooms that are engaging and fulfilling for both students and their teachers.

Cathleen Beachboard is a teacher, author, and researcher. She writes and creates content for Edutopia and has been featured by TED-Ed. After adopting five children out of a case of extreme abuse and neglect, she has been on a mission to improve outcomes for those who experience trauma and anxiety. Cathleen has taught middle school English for the past 15 years. She also works as a part-time researcher holding an M.A. in Psychology.

Stephanie Smith Budhai, Ph.D. is an associate clinical professor at Drexel University and a certified K-12 teacher. She has spent the past decade as a teacher educator building culturally responsive and anti-racist curriculum. She is on the board of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Association for Multicultural Education.

Kristine S. Lewis Grant, Ph.D. is a clinical professor of multicultural and urban education at Drexel University. Her research interests include family engagement in urban schools, and the recruitment and retention of teachers of color. She is a board member of the Pennsylvania chapter of the National Association for Multicultural Education.

Carrie L. McDermott Goldman, Ed.D.,  is Associate Professor, Coordinator of Graduate and Post-Graduate TESOL/ Bilingual Programs, and Director of Bilingual and TESOL Grants at Molloy College, Rockville Centre, New York. She teaches pre-service and in-service teachers equitable pedagogical approaches, research-and asset-based practices, and embedded language theory.

Christina Nosek is a passionate classroom teacher of 20 years and literacy education staff developer in her time away from the classroom. She equally loves teaching children and supporting teachers in developing their classroom reading and writing communities. Her past roles include reading specialist and literacy coach. When she is not working in education, she’s enjoying life in the sunny San Francisco Bay Area. This is her second book for teachers.
