Barb Pitchford is a national consultant focusing on leadership for school improvement. During her 30 plus years in public education, Barb has worked at all school levels – high, middle, and elementary – as a teacher, counselor, and administrator. For the past 10 years Barb has worked as a professional learning consultant specializing in powerful and practical leadership for improved learning for both students and teachers.

Jonathan Eckert was a public school teacher outside of Chicago and Nashville for 12 years. He earned his doctorate in education at Vanderbilt University and served as a U.S. Department of Education Teaching Ambassador Fellow in both the Bush and Obama administrations. Currently, he is the Lynda and Robert Copple Chair and Professor of Educational Leadership at Baylor University, where he supports leaders through the Center for School Leadership.

Benjie Howard is the co-founder and executive director of New Wilderness Project, which focuses on outdoor education programs and the development of youth leadership for equity, environmental sustainability, and social justice. Currently, he works as a Deep Equity consultant with Corwin Press. Benjie is a river guide and wilderness educator on the Colorado River in Grand Canyon where he has designed and led educational expeditions for teachers, leaders, and youth since 1995.
