Edward H. Moore started his career as a high school journalism teacher and school public relations practitioner. In more than 25 years as an educator, journalist, and public relations counselor, Moore has written and presented extensively on school public relations issues. He is an associate professor in the College of Communication at Rowan University.

She is the director of science education at California State University, Fullerton. Amy Morse is a national leader in designing and providing professional development for math coaches and district leaders responsible for coaching programs. In 1997, Amy joined Education Development Center where, as a project director, she works on teacher and coach development programs. In this capacity she worked for many years with the Boston Public Schools (BPS) Elementary Math Department to design and facilitate the professional development for the district’s elementary math coaches.

Nathan L. Essex is professor of educational law and leadership at the University of Memphis and president of Southwest Tennessee Community College. He has held public school teaching and administrative positions prior to completing the doctorate. Essex’s interests include law, educational policy, and personnel administration. He has served as consultant for more than 100 school districts and numerous educational agencies.

Denise M. Gudwin is currently an adjunct professor at Florida International University and national consultant for the Bureau of Educational Research. She retired from Miami-Dade County Public Schools after thirty years of service, July 2008.

Magda D. Salazar is currently the Special Education Chairperson and Teacher at an elementary school in the fourth-largest school district of the nation. Her past experiences include special education teacher; inclusion teacher; curriculum support specialist, Division of Special Education, District Office; professional development support specialist; and adjunct professor at Florida International University and Barry University.

Yohuru Rashied Williams is an associate professor of history at Fairfield University and the vice president for history education of the American Institute for History Education. He is the author of Black Politics/White Power; editor of A Constant Struggle: African-American History from 1865 to the Present; and coeditor of In Search of the Black Panther and Liberated Territory: Toward A Local History of the Black Panther Party.

Aimée Bissonette is a lawyer, teacher, and writer. She has written extensively for trade publications and conducts training sessions for corporate, educational, and nonprofit groups (nationally and internationally) on the topics of copyright, rights negotiation and licensing, and the legal issues associated with technology in schools.
