Dr. Mary Ann Lachat is Co-founder and President of the Center for Resource Management, Inc. (CRM), a professional-services firm dedicated to helping schools achieve equity and high quality learning for all students. She has more than 30 years of experience with school reform initiatives at state and local levels, and she has worked extensively with state education agencies and school district teams in addressing issues for diverse learners.

Phyllis H. Lindstrom is a leader in school improvement issues and has a strong interest in developing collaborative leadership in schools. She is an associate professor of Educational Leadership at San José State University. In addition, her long career in K–12 educa­tion includes teacher, principal, director, and assistant superinten­dent. She serves on the board of directors of Futures in Education, an alternative education secondary school district in California.

Adrienne Mack-Kirschner, Ed.D., NBCT, is an education consultant and speaker with vast experience as a classroom teacher, mentor, writer, literacy coach, and support provider for candidates applying for Certification throught the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS). She developed and directed NB support programs at the University of California, Los Angeles, and for the Los Angeles County Office of Education.

Kathy Larsen spent 18 years teaching middle school students and the last 10 years working exclusively in the field of professional development, concentrating efforts on community building and continuous growth cycles for individuals, teams, and systems. Currently she is a consultant for the Cooperative Education Service Agency #2 in Wisconsin, an adjunct faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and an associate member of Consensus Associates, Terrebonne, CO.

John R. Hoyle, a professor of educational administration at Texas A&M University, is an authority on the superintendency, leadership research, and future studies. He served as president of the National Council of Professors of Educational Administration and was the first recipient of the NCPEA “Living Legend Award.” In a 2004 survey, Hoyle’s peers selected him as one of the four most “exceptional living scholars” in educational administration.

Cary J. Kottler has attended public school in the United States and New Zealand. He is currently a student at Rice University in Houston, Texas where he is majoring in political science and is captain of the rugby team.

Edward T. Joyner, Ed.D., is the Executive Director of the Yale School Development Program. He served as the SDP's first director of training, was the original designer of the SDP Leadership Development Academies, and initiated university-public school partnerships to strengthen local school reform efforts.

James P. Comer, M.D., is the founder and chairman of the Yale School Development Program, Maurice Falk Professor of Child Psychiatry at the Yale Child Study Center, and Associate Dean of the Yale University School of Medicine. He has been the recipient of the Grawemeyer Award in Education, the John and Mary Markle Scholar in Academic Medicine Award, the Rockefeller Public Service Award, the Harold W. McGraw, Jr., Prize in Education, the Charles A.

Virginia Collier is a Clinical Associate Professor at Texas A&M University. She served as a teacher, principal and superintendent in the Texas schools for thirty-five years. Governor George W. Bush appointed her as a member of the Texas State Board of Educator. Dr. Collier served as the first female president of the Texas Association of School Administrators and is active in the American Association of School Administrators.

Thomas Glass is Professor of Leadership at the University of Memphis. Over the past three decades, he has served as a faculty member at Northern Illinois University, Washington State University, The University of Detroit and Indiana University. He is a former visiting scholar in the Department of Educational Studies at the University of Oxford and is a member of Green College.

Linda E. Brody directs the Study of Exceptional Talent and co-directs the Diagnostic and Counseling Center at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY). She has over 25 years’ experience counseling gifted students and their families and conducting research on this population. Having earned her doctorate in the Education of the Gifted from Johns Hopkins, she has taught graduate courses in gifted education there for many years.

Karen F. Osterman is currently Professor and Chairperson in the Department of Foundations, Leadership, and Policy Studies at Hofstra University. She received her BA from Emmanuel College, an MPIA at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, and a PhD from Washington University.
