Dr. Louis Denti, a former special educator and administrator, is currently the Lawton Love Distinguished Professor of Special Education and Director of the Center for Reading Diagnosis and Instruction at California State University, Monterey Bay. His research focuses on student behavior, special education, inclusion, and literacy.

Rich Korb has thirty-three years of educational experience as a successful educator and consultant working with difficult and at-risk students. He has taught both general and special education at all levels and has served as Youth Ranch Director of Education for delinquent youth.

Jim Dillon has been an educator for over 35 years, including 20 years as a school administrator. While he was the principal of Lynnwood Elementary in New York, he developed the Peaceful School Bus Program, designed to prevent and reduce bullying, and subsequently published The Peaceful School Bus (Hazelden). The program is now being implemented in schools across the country.
