Mary Black
Mary Black is currently a Corwin professional learning consultant with a focus on PLC+ and Teacher Clarity. She taught English Language Arts in secondary schools as well as being a high school principal. Serving as a literacy specialist for the state of Texas, she worked at Education Service Center Region 13 in Austin, serving as the MTSS coordinator and providing professional learning for Visible Learning impact strategies. She holds teaching certificates in Missouri, Texas, and California and an administrative services credential in California. She earned a MA in Educational Leadership from San Jose State University.
