A useful text for any student with dyslexia or those who need strategies to organise and structure study at FE/HE level.
Practical activities and accompanying materials can be adapted by individuals or support tutors. Highly recommended.
A useful text to support students with dyslexia, especially those in HE who have been recently diagnosed and are eager to support themselves further.
Another really practical study guide form SAGE, whose reputation in this field is well-established.
Stadents and the staff who teach them can both benefit from adopting the approaches and strategies proposed in this book.
A great book/companion for new university students with OR without dyslexia. I have used this with new students already, as it reminds me how daunting life in university can be. This tool kit (book) offers practical and thoughtful support to both student and mentor. I thoroughly recommend this book.
An excellent resource for students who have been recently been diagnosed with dyslexia and other staff in education who support students with specific learning disabilities. Tips and resources greatly enhance my teaching for all students.
Do not like the print/paper etc..
An interesting read that has proved useful to students as well as teachers already taking suggestions and techniques into the classroom.
This book was a good teaching resource for me. It helped me to better understand how to support our students with dyslexia, who were undertaking study skills. It is also a useful tool generally for any tutor looking to support students undertaking study skills.
I very useful guide which I recommend to students with dyslexia.
A really good book for students to use who have dyslexia to help them build solving mechanisms but it is also good for students who are coaching or teaching participants with dyslexia as it offers ideas to help with creating solving mechanisms and making practice inclusive and developmental.
